The main Ingredients that you have to take is basmati rice, you can add french beans, carrot, peas, potatots and more stuff as you like. The expected cooking time of this recipe 22 minutes, while you have to spend your first 15 minutes in in Preparation of this recipe.
50 gms carrots
100 gms green peas
4 cloves of garlic lehsun, grated
3/4 tsp ginger – adrak paste
8 to 12 1/2 mint leaves – phudina
2 1/2 cloves laung – lavang
3/4 ” stick of cinnamon dalchini
3/4 tsp lemon juice
2 1/2 cups long grained rice – basmati
1 2/3 tbsp ghee or butter
6 2/3 cups water
salt to taste
Chop fine all the vegetables and wash the rice, Put the pan on stove and add ghee/butter.
When it boils add cloves,cinamon, garlic, ginger paster for few seconds and add vegetables and cook for two minutes.
After that add rice and again saute for two minutes.
Add salt and lemon juice.
Add phudina leaves.
Cover the pan and slow the stove and allow to cook for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes stop the stove.
Garnish it with coariander leaves and serve with curd or Chutny.
