500 Gms refined wheat flour (Maida)

250 Gms sugar

500 Gms refined oil


Methi Mathri prepration

Take Maida, sugar and 100 Gms of refined oil in a bowl, mix well, and use little water, knead it to get tough dough. Knead the dough again to make it soft as possible. Put dough in a closed pot for 2-3 hours. Now divide the dough in 6-8 equal parts approximately; roll each part of the dough into balls with the help of palms.

Methi Mathri frying pan

Heat refined oil on medium flame in a heavy bottomed pan.  Now roll each ball to a circular shape of 5-6 inches diameter and of thickness ¼ inches approximately. Cut small pieces  in the shape of diamonds, rectangles or shapes as you like, add some Mathari to pan, fry until it is brown, stir occasionally, take it out, continue to fry rest Mathari.

Cool it naturally, put in an air
