Basmati rice – 1 cup
Ghee – 3 tbsp
Raisins – 1tsp
Almonds – 1tsp (chopped)
Cashew nut – 1tsp (chopped)
Saffron – a pinch
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Green cardamom – 4
Rose water – 2tbsp
Make rice with sufficient water.
Drain the water.
Soak saffron in 1/4 cup of milk.
Heat ghee in a pan. Add cardamom and rice. Stir in between.
Lastly add saffron milk,cashew nuts,almonds ,raisins and sugar.
Garnish with fresh fruits of your choice before serving.
This dish is ideal for breakfast.
