Shimla Mirch Bharva Recipe

10 capsicum of medium size

5 tbsp mustard oil

5 potatoes of medium size (boiled & mashed)

5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)

1 small onion(finely chopped)

1 small carrot(finely chopped, optional)

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp raw mango powder

1/2 tsp. garam masala

salt (to test)

Mix all the ingredients except 1st and 2nd with 1 tbsp. of mustard oil. Set aside.

Take capsicum, cut the top, Stuff each capsicum fully with mashed mixture.

Heat remaining 4 tbsp. of oil in a cooker, place gently all mirch one by one with bottom downward, close the cooker, get full pressure, care fully open the cooker using tap water, place the cooker on medium flame and fry till light brown and gently turn each one and fry. remove heat.
