Sambar Recipe

Ingredients Required to Prepare sambar

  1. Tur dal – 1 cup
  2. tamarind – 3 cm, 5 pieces
  3. water – 4 cups
  4. salt – one and half tbsp
  5. sambar masala – 2 tsp
  6. vegitable oil – 1 tsp
  7. mustard seeds – ½ tsp
  8. curry leaves – 2sprig

Method

  1. pour ingradiients  1  to 5   into  cooker. Stir once. Cook for 10 minutes .  Allow to cool naturally.
  2. for tempering,heat oil in a pan for about 2 minutes. Add mustard seeds curry leaves when crackings. Pour into sambar.
  3. ready  to  serve.
