Rice Veg Cake

Raw rice – 1 cup
Toovar dal- 1/4 cup
Pepper corn- 1tsp
Ginger- small bit (chopped)
Red chilli- 2
Hing- pinch
Oil – 2tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1tsp
Urad dal – 1tsp
Curry leaves- little
Salt- to taste
Carrot and radish – 1 (grated)


Coarsley grind the rice,toovar dhal, red chilli,peppercorn and keep aside.

Now heat oil in a Pan splutter mustardseeds, add hing, urad dal roast it.

Then add curry leaves, grated carrot and radish fry for a while.

Now add 3 cup water required salt and bring it to boil.

Now add that rice and dall mixture slowly without forming lumps  cover with lid and simmer it. For 10min.

Now remove from flame allow it to cool. Now make small heart or round sized shapes and steam it in Idli plates for 10 min.

Now yummy healthy cake ready. It goes well with chutney
