Rajma (Red beans)
1 cup red beans, boiled (blended to coarse paste)
2 green chillies, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
7 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
1table spoon mustard oil
4 black peppercorns, crushed
2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
Heat mustard oil in a pan; add cumin seeds, garlic, onion, roast till it brown.
Now add beans and remaining ingredients except coriander. Cook for 10 minutes.
Process the kidney beans in a blender to a coarse paste. Transfer to a bowl.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with rice.
