Pudina Puris Recipe

pudina puri

pudina puris are mouthwatering recipe . It takes only 10 minutes for preparation  .It is very good for health…..                                                       preparation time : 10 minutes .  cooking time : 20 minutes.  makes 15 puris.

2 cups plain flour {maida}

1/2 cup mint leaves {pudina}

1 teaspoon cumin seeds {jeera}

2 green chillies , chopped

1teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon sugar

salt to taste

oil for greasing and deep frying

1.Pound the mint leaves ,cumins (jeera) seeds ,green chillies, lemon juice ,sugar and salt together in a mortar and pestle.

2.Combine this mixture with the flour, add enough water and knead into a firm dough. divide into 15 equal portions.

3.Roll out on a lightly greased surface into thin circles of 75mm.(3″)diameter.

4.Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown and drain on absorbent paper.

serve hot.

Handy Tip: you can also make parathas with same dough.
