Mutter and Paneer Recipe is a very famous north indian dish, Paneer is one of the main sources of protein for vegetarians in India.
100 Gms mutter (green peas)
100 Gms paneer (small cubes)
10 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
1 medium size onion (finely chopped)
1 small piece ginger (finely chopped)
2 green chili (chopped)
½ tsp salt
1/4tsp turmeric powder
1/4tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp mustard oil
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan on medium flame, fry paneer for 2-3 minutes, take it out, now add cumin seeds, fry until it becomes light brown, add garlic, onion, turmeric powder, chili and ginger cook until it becomes light brown, add roasted paneer, green peas, garam masala, 2 cups of water and salt, minimize the flame, stir gently, fully cover it and cook for 10 minutes. Off the flame.
A delicious dish is ready.
