Makhana (Puffed lotus seeds) Salty Recipe

Know easily how to make salty Makhana in your home.

Ingredients required

100 gm puffed lotus seeds

4 tbsp ghee (unsalted butter)

1 tsp table salt

½ tsp pepper corn (powder)


Heat ghee on medium flame in a frying pan, add makhana, cook about 5 minutes, color turns to light brown, stir continually when frying. Off the flame, add salt, pepper and mix well. Cool it naturally. Collect it in an air tight container.

A salty nutritious dish is ready.
