KESARI SWEET ZARDA PULLAO


Serves : 6

Cooking time:  10 Mins.

Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice, soaked

2 cups water

3 tbsp. ghee

½ tsp. saffron

2-3 green cardamoms

1 tsp. fennel seeds (saunf)

1 cup sugar

1 no. bay leaf


Method:

1. Put ghee, fennel seeds and bay leaf in the cooker pan.

2. When it splutters, add all the ingredients except sugar and mix well.

3. When the rice is cooked, switch will automatically move to “keep warm” position.  Add sugar and mix well.  Let the rice cook on a “keep warm” mode for 5 mins.

4. Garnish with dry fruits. 

5. Serve warm or cold
