Recipe Idli Sandwich

Ingredients:

For Idli:

Idli Batter

Salt to taste

For Filling:

1 bowl finely chopped cabbage/lettuce, carrot, capsicum

1 small bowl mashed paneer

5-6 teaspoons Olitalia Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1-2 teaspoons Soya Sauce, Tomato Ketchup, chilli Sauce

1/2 teaspoon finely chopped garlic

Salt to taste

1/2 spoon red chilli powder

Method.

Mix the salt in Idli batter and keep it aside.

For filling, heat olive oil in a pan. add all the chopped vegetables and saute it well. Then as soon as they are tender, add paneer, salt, red chilli powder, Stir the filling well. Post this add soya sauce, chilli sauce and ketchup. Mix it well and keep it aside.

Now in an idli-maker, grease each layer. Post that put some idli batter on that idli maker layer. now take a spoon of this paneer filling, spread it on palm and shape it round like a pattice. Then place it exactly in middle of the idli batter. No put some more batter covering the filling.

Do the same with each idli maker layer. Now steam it for like 20 minutes.

Idli sandwich is ready. Cut it into pieces of three each. and garnish it with cheese and raw carrot.

Serve hot with Hot n sweet tomato Ketchup or coconut chutney.
