instant gajar halwa


500 Gms gajar (carrot) (finely chopped)

100 Gms ghee

200 Gms milk powder

100 Gms sugar

½ tsp cardamom powder


Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan over low flame, add chopped carrot, add sugar, mix well, fully cover it (use minimum heat as possible). Cook for 5 minutes. Remove heat. Do not open the cover, cool it naturally then open the cover. Add milk powder and cardamom; stir vigorously so that mixture becomes uniform.

Again cook it on medium flame with continuous stir for 2-3 minutes. Off the flame.
May garnish with chopped pista and kaju.

Halwa is ready.
