gajar halwa


1 kgs. Red carrots peeled and grated
ΒΌ cup milk
1 cups sugar
250 Gms. Mava grated
5 tbsp ghee
2tbsp sliced almonds, pistachio

Put carrots and milk into cooker. Close cooker. Bring to full pressure on high heat. Remove heat. Release pressure. Open cooker. Place open cooker with carrots and milk on high heat. Add sugar and ghee. Cook till liquid dries up (approximately 7-8 minutes), stirring occasionally. Add mava. Cook till ghee separates (approximately 5-7 minutes), stirring continuously. Garnish with almonds and pistachio.
Serve hot.
