Drumstick (sahjan or sutti) ki sabzi, learn easil how to make Drumstick curry at your home
100 Gms potato (upper skin removed, washed, cut in to cubes)
100 Gms drumstick (cut in to pieces of 2-3 inches, washed)
2 medium size onions (chopped)
10 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 tbsp mustard oil
½ tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
1 tsp mustard seeds (crushed)
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp dhania (coriander) powder
1 tsp salt
Heat 1 tbsp mustard oil in a heavy bottomed frying pan (kadhai), add jeera as it becomes dark brown add garlic after 10 seconds add onion, crushed mustard seeds, turmeric powder and dhania powder, fry it 2-3 minutes on medium flame, now add potatoes and drumsticks, stir continually, fry it for 5-6 minutes add salt and 5 cups of water, fully cover it, lower the flame, cook for 15 minutes. Off the flame. Cool it naturally.
Dish is ready.
