Creamy Banana Juice Recipe

Introduction: It appears to be perfectly OK to down a few red bulls before a competition, but take an illegal an illegal drug to help ‘give you wings’ and you are banned for life. Anyway, whether legal or not, natural is always best when it comes to performance enhancing and this excellent smoothie has been designed to do exactly what it says on the tin (so to speak)-enhance performance naturally.

Ingredients: 

1/4 small pineapple (fairtrade if you can – every little helps)

1 apple (Golden Delicious or Royal Gala for preference)

1/2 banana (again, fairtrade if possible)

2 tablespoons tahini paste (pulped sesame seeds-can be purchased just about anywhere)

2 tablespoons live low-fat yogurt

1 teaspoon Manuka active honey

A few ice cubes

Method: Cut the pineapple so it fits in the feeder of your juicer and juice it along with the apple. Place the banana, tahini paste, yogurt, Manuka honey, and ice into blender along with the apple and pineapple juice. Blend until smooth.

Juices Content following vitamins: Vitamins A, B1,B2, B6, and C, beta-carotene, potassium, fibre, folic acid, magnesium, boron, ellagic acid, calcium, iron, friendly bacteria, UMF (Unique Manuka Factor), plus, of course, all the other magnificent elements nature has provided which we are yet to discover and name.
