let’s start the new year 2018 with the Coconut Barfi Recipe.
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
2 cups finely ground fresh coconut
1 cup desicated coconut
4 table spoon ghee
1 teaspoon cardamon (elaichi) powder
Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a pan. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Add ground fresh coconut
and stir continuously until most of the water has evaporated . Gradually add ghee and continue
to stir until the mixture separates from the pan.
Add cardamon powder , stir . Pour into greased pan and level the top with a spatula.
while still warm, cut into pieces. Allow the barfi to cool before serving .
