Besan ka chilla


2 cups gram flour

1/2 tsp. green chili’s  paste

1/2 tsp. ginger paste

1/2 tsp. raw mango powder

1/4 tsp. red chili powder

salt to test

water as required


Put all the ingredients except water in a bowl, add small quantities of water and stir well to make a smooth batter with no lumps in it again add water and stir well to get a dropping consistency. now keep it aside for 2 hrs.

Now heat a heavy bottom frying pan for 3-4 mts, put 1 tsp. of oil on it, add 1-2 drops of water carefully, oil itself spreads over it. Now put serving spoonful of batter and spread evenly on it, now cook 2-3 mts on medium heat, add few drops of oil on the edge of the chilla and turn it upside down. Let it be brown from both the sides.

Do the same with rest batter.

Chilla is ready, serve it with tomato sauce.
