Badam milk is prepared with crushed badam or almonds mixed with sugar, cream, milk and other dry fruits. Serve badam milk is very heavy and healthy drink specially for summer season.
5 cups milk
1/4 cup almonds (badam)
a pinch of cardamom (elaichi) powder
a pinch of nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
3 tbsp honey
Take badam soaked over-night in water, peel and chop roughly, now heat milk and add chopped badam and simmer on low heat for fifteen to twenty minutes. Add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and continue to boil for another two minutes, allow the milk to cool for some time and finally add honey and stir. Serve warm or cold as you like.
