Apple Sauce

Ingredients

1 kg apples (peeled, quartered)

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/2 tsp. cardamom powder

1/2 tsp. pepper powder

1/2 cup water

Method

Take a heavy-bottom pan. Pour all the ingredients, lower heat, fully covered, simmer for 10 minutes. Again simmer over low heat until mixture thickens, about 20 -25 minutes. cool naturally, store in dry air tight bottles in refrigerator.
