Apple, lemon and pear Juice Recipe

2 apple (Golden Delicious or Royal Gala)

1 pear (conference is best)

1 inch slice lemon with rind on (unwaxed if possible)

3 prunes (pitted and soaked overnight)

6 cubes ice

Method: Juices the apples, pear and lemon. Pour into the blender with the pitted prunes and ice. Blend until smooth and drink slowly. You may find that it takes a while to get the prunes smooth, depending on your blender, but it’s OK if it’s slightly ‘bitty’.

Juices Content following vitamins: Vitamins B1, B2, B6, and C, pectin, beta-carotene, magnesium, phosphorus, sulphur, malic acid, iron, natural sugars, anti-oxidants and amino acids.
