Main Ingredients for cooking aam(Mango) ka pana:
Raw mangoes 200 gms
Water 1 litre
Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
Sugar 60 gms
Salt to taste
Rock salt 1tsp
Pepper powder 1 tsp
Mint leaves few
Wash the mangoes well under running water .
Prick with a fork or knife
Boil 250ml water in a 1 litre bowl on 100% power for 3 mins
Add the mangoes and microwave on 80% power for 7-8 mins
Remove the mangoes from water and allow to cool for 10-15mins.
Retain the water.
Extract the mango pulp, discard the seed and grind with the retained water till smooth paste in a blender
Reheat the mango pulp in a 2 litre bowl on 100% power for 2mins
Add the roasted cumin powder , sugar, salt, rock salt and pepper powder. Mix well till the sugar is dissolved
Add 750ml water. Mix and microwave on 100% power for 7-8mins
Garnish with mint leaves .
